Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Industrial Electrical Superintendent for a long-term project in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

This position requires someone with strong industrial electrical construction experience who can take responsibility for field operations, coordinate crews, maintain production, and make sure the electrical installation is completed according to plans, specifications, schedule, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise electricians, foremen, and electrical crews in the field
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, specifications, and one-lines
  • Perform and oversee electrical layout and field coordination
  • Plan daily and weekly manpower and production
  • Coordinate installation sequencing with other trades and project management
  • Oversee installation of rigid conduit/RMC, raceways, supports, cable tray, equipment, panels, and electrical systems
  • Verify conduit routing, elevations, measurements, and installation before crews begin work
  • Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and manpower needed to keep crews productive
  • Monitor quality of work and ensure installations meet project specifications and NEC requirements
  • Maintain jobsite safety and enforce project safety procedures
  • Identify field conflicts and help develop solutions before they affect production
  • Track progress and communicate daily with project management
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, punch-list work, and project closeout activities

Requirements

  • Strong previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent on industrial projects
  • Extensive experience with rigid conduit/RMC
  • Excellent blueprint and electrical drawing reading skills
  • Strong knowledge of electrical layout and field coordination
  • Experience managing multiple crews and foremen
  • Industrial construction experience required
  • Strong understanding of NEC and electrical installation standards
  • Ability to plan manpower, materials, and production
  • Must be able to work a demanding schedule of up to 80 hours per week
  • Must be dependable, organized, safety-focused, and able to lead crews effectively
